2014 15.1 and growing Palomino Tobiano APHA Gelding - Sundance Painted Deal "Rio" is a registered gelding with the American Paint Horse Association.  I bought him as an unbroke prospect and spent a lot of time and effort helping him become a well-rounded horse.  We took Rio on our family trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota in August 2017. He far exceeded my expectations. He traveled well, and took every challenge in stride. I rode Rio on some tough trails and crossed all kinds of obstacles. He even ponied the kids when needed. He is good with general maintenance, loads and hauls well, and is going to be a good all around gelding in time. I absolutely love this gelding but I have to downsize and pay off some farm repairs. I have to make a tough decision and offer him for sale.

Update October 2017: Rio is just finishing up 30 days professional training from Gable Stables. He has a solid reining foundation with a stop, start to a spin and finishing on his neck reining. Check out his recent video below - Schooling shows, dressage, reining work, and Ranch It Up clinic.

January 2018: Rio ended up spending 4 months with Gable Stables. He is a solid performer!  He is taking about 6  weeks off and will be in training in Mid-February. He will be ready to show!
